A rose by any other name?

Jona, who designed the templates for both this, and BMCC’s blog, challenged all her readers to complete this name-dropping exercise. I don’t usually do this sort of thing, but as she’s been so kind to me, and this being slack news month (i.e. I don’t have anything else to write about)…

1. YOUR ROCK STAR NAME: (first pet and current street name)

Dave Vic

2. YOUR MOVIE STAR NAME: (grandfather/grandmother on your mom's [sic] side, your favourite [sic] candy [sic])

Steele Bar [of chocolate, actually, but it does work as a movie star name, doesn’t it? – I picture myself in the Vin Diesel role].

3. YOUR "FLY GIRL/GUY" NAME: (first initial of first name, first two or three letters of your middle name)

D-Jo

4. YOUR DETECTIVE NAME: (favorite [sic] color [sic] [does this questionnaire originate in the USA?] favorite [sic] animal)

Orange Dog

5. YOUR SOAP OPERA NAME: (middle name, city where you were born)

J Gravesend

6. YOUR STAR WARS NAME: (the first 3 letters of your last name, first 2 letters of your first name, first 2 letters of mom's [sic] maiden name and first 3 letters of the town you grew up in.)

Easda Stgra

7. Terrorist Name: (middle name spelled backwards, your mom's [sic] maiden name spelled backwards).

J Eleets

8. SUPERHERO NAME: (your favorite [sic] color [sic], favorite [sic] drink)

Orange Pepsi-Max [I don’t think this one really works, does it? How about Terracotta Earl Grey ?]

If any of my readers want to have a go, feel free, but please don’t do it out of any misguided sense of loyalty to me.

Awww we have the same favourite colour! Mine's actually brown, all the shades, but people tend to pull a face when I say that.

As detectives, we're almost the same person!

And yes, I hope this questionnaire originated in the US ;o)

This was fun, although it's quite hard spelling things backwards when your dyslexic! I like my movie star name: Joan Galaxy, so classy!

Okay D-Jo, I don't normally do these, but I'll have a go, too.
